We are honored to be highlighted by Harsch Investment Properties. We have been located in their building on SW 16th Avenue for 27 years creating stunning looks and providing quality service for our guests. The COVID-19 pandemic is an unprecedented crisis that has caused sudden wide-spread disruption to our country’s economies and health systems. It has required us to protect ourselves against infection by changing the ways we socialize, go to work, and live our lives. In light of so much anxiety-inducing news, it is critical to our mental well-being that we prioritize the practice of self-care. Patty Putnam of Evolution Hair Design, this week's #fridayfeature, is prepared to help. Patty, along with her two business partners, opened the doors to their salon 27 years ago, in Harsch’s Lincoln Place property. Conveniently located near Portland’s downtown, she has called the Goose Hollow neighborhood the best of all worlds with its convenient access to major freeways as well as its proximity to some of Portland’s most popular destinations. Over time, her partners left the business to pursue other endeavors, but Patty, an advocate of self-care, remained, motivated by the relationships she made in the salon and the people she’s been able to help. Patty loves when clients leave her salon feeling good about how they look which in turn directly boosts their overall confidence and happiness.
Evolution’s staff of eight offers everything from waxing, lash extensions, eyebrow tinting, micro-blading, and a comprehensive list of hair services. Their stylists know the importance of remaining up to date on current trends and are constantly improving their skills in order to offer the freshest styles and techniques.
In light of the pandemic, Evolution has gone above and beyond to create a comfortable and safe environment while adhering to the latest health and sanitation guidelines. Masks are worn at all times by employees and are provided to customers during hair services. Workstations are six feet apart and sanitized after each visit.
