Meet our newest stylist @april.m.ozuna who’s starting at our Hillsdale location! ✨ Passionate about hair and beauty from a young age, April believes in taking a wholistic approach in her consultation process. She takes pride in helping her guests achieve their signature look that best fits their lifestyle and complements their natural beauty. April has a versatile skill set and can create anything from precision cuts to stunning balayages, beautiful blow-outs, and natural looking hair colors. In her personal time, she enjoys hiking, reading, and roller skating.

77 Hillsdale opened today. WILD! I started the day with some of my favorite clients and it felt so comfortable. Thank you @bensonbubbler and @mimijoycoaching The space was handed down to me with such amazing energy from @holistic_hair_mama and @metalmike_shralps_hair and @megs.holisticstyles ✨❤️🙏🏽 I worked all week to make it feel like my own, but a part of their energy still lives and inhabits the space that is now 77 Salon. It always will! I even left their old logo in a little secret box in the backroom for good luck 👏🏽 because they are such magical humans. I am so fortunate to have acquired such successful and special businesses from the people transitioning them to me. @sarahadamshair is no longer on Instagram (good girl) but taking over her business was one of the most WILD endeavors I’ve ever taken on. (Holy crap that was a lot of pressure) She literally had ELLE magazine do an event at our salon within a few months of our business handover and I was 24 and felt the HEAT🔆 No pressure. 😂🥴😳 So many stories made short- I have had the honor of acquiring businesses from the most talented humans in Portland (In my opinion). I am humbled, and forever grateful for the knowledge that y’all have passed down to me. 🙏🏽 KEEP going up guys! Because I rely on you, and I’m right behind you! 🚙💨 Fun fact: anyone who buys 77 salon gets knocked up upon purchase @sarahadamshair ✨ It’s a blessing... passed down from the Queen herself.

A message from the owner, April; You guys ready for some big news? 77 Salon Hillsdale will be opening in November, 2020! ✨ Expansion was not something that we would have imagined we’d be considering, but as the universe would have it, the stars aligned and I was presented with an amazing opportunity to take over a space for someone who I respect deeply, @holistic_hair_mama . 77 Salon Hillsdale will be an eco-friendly and clean air salon that will house 6 new stylists beginning in November. This project and opening feel so right for me- at home, holistic care and natural products have been a major part of my life since my daughter, Evey was born, and I am so excited to own a business that supports this value. 77 Salon pearl is going to remain open (hopefully foreverrrrr), and I will continue to work at that location unless my clients convince me otherwise. We are currently looking to staff this location, 6 stylists, and I am specifically looking for 1 barber and at LEAST 1 stylist who specializes in natural and textured hair. Wish me luck, send some prayers. And THANK YOU to my family, my clients, and to all of my staff who have made this dream a reality. I appreciate and love you all more than you know.
